How to Apply for a Grant Opportunity:
As a Community-based organizations (CBOs) or Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), you can streamline your grant application process by first identifying grants specifically targeted to your mission and services. Get started by browsing the grant opportunities below. It’s essential to carefully read the eligibility criteria and application instructions for each grant. Utilizing templates and grant writing workshops can also enhance their proposals, making the application process more efficient. Staying organized with deadlines and required documents is crucial. Focus on grants that closely align with your organizations mission and greatly increase your chances of securing some vital funding.

Grant Opportunities:
As a charitable affiliate of AARP, AARP Foundation works to end senior poverty by helping older adults build economic opportunity. Through our grantmaking, we collaborate with organizations to advance projects that can become sustainable solutions to the challenges facing older adults living with low income.
ACL awards more than one billion dollars in grants, primarily to state and local governments, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education and small businesses. Some are awarded in accordance with formulas (mandatory grants) established in legislation, while others are awarded in a competitive process (discretionary grants).
ACL awards grants to states and organizations that provide services and supports for older adults and people with disabilities, conduct research, and develop innovative approaches to doing both.

Increasing federal investment in the Aging Network and the cost-effective and life-sustaining programs and services it delivers to older adults and caregivers is a major focus of USAging.
